Fools Rush In (Weddings by Bella, #1)

Fools Rush In (Weddings by Bella, #1) - Janice Thompson I picked this ebook up free from the Kindle Store. I don't know that I would have paid $14.99 for it (the listed Kindle edition price). It was a fluffy book, a decent summer read, but nothing I would go out of my way to re-read. If the sequels are offered free, I'd download them, but I am not even interested enough in the characters to wonder what happens.

The story as fluffy and seemed to move both too fast and too slow all at the same time. I find it difficult to believe (1) that a New Jersey Italian family would (a) move to Galveston, TX and (b) convert from Roman Catholicism to Methodist, and (2) that the deejay and his family would get that involved with the crazy Italians so quickly and so totally. It was a fluff read, one that I would have appreciated much more 5 years ago when I was really looking for fluff reads and got involved in Christian fiction (I was in shock from and recover after Hurricane Katrina and needed the positiveness Christian fiction had to offer).

It wasn't a terrible book, but it's not one I have to read again.
