The Betrayal of the Blood Lily - Lauren Willig I enjoyed this book, Penelope is a likable character and the resolution of the book is fitting for both her and the others. I would have preferred if the chapters in current time were somehow delineated from the historical story -- either by naming the chapters differently, or by setting them in a different type-face. I find it very frustrating to have the action of the historical story flow right into the action of the current time story. It takes me a couple of pages to re-adjust my thinking.

That not-minor-but-not-major complaint is my only one with the series. They are fun, easy-to-read diversions and just the kind of thing for reading between heavier volumes. This one was no different.
