Through the Looking-Glass, and What Alice Found There

Through the Looking-Glass, and What Alice Found There - Lewis Carroll I had read Alice's Adventures in Wonderland as part of a summer reading assignment in high school, but I had never read Through the Looking Glass. I remembered enjoying Alice, though not too much of the story -- isn't that the way worth assigned required reading? I decided it was high time I give this book a go. It features quite importantly in one of my favorite, seminal moment books (The View From Saturday) and I was quite interested to read it for myself.

I was quite amazed to see how much of the tale told in Disney's animated Alice in Wonderland actually came from Through the Looking Glass.

The book was definitely worth the read, and I am sure, were it a newly published book today, everyone would be talking about Alice and trying to find further adventures for her.
